This look features a jacket and a dress worn together as one.

WANA SAMBO CRUISE COLLECTION 2010 SAMPLE SALE

I am so elated!! my cruise collection titled "Sidewalks are Runways" is finally here!! my exhibition/sample sale is on the 19th of december 2010.
My inspiration for the Wana Sambo ‘Sidewalks are Runways’ Cruise Collection ’10 was drawn from the streets. On the sidewalks, you see every form of creativity, style and persona expressed through people’s outfits. This collection can be taken straight from the lookbook into a woman’s closet because it has a piece for every occasion. Work, play, boat cruise, chilling-at-friend’s, out to dinner, or just hanging out. I wanted to show the versatility of a collection with it still telling a story.


The shoot (for the lookbook which will be updated soon) describes the unspoken rivalry between humans, the quest for achieving more wealth, success or fame than another, which leaves us constantly on our toes or just head strong against one another. Here it’s the case of two friends who constantly want to be ahead of each other without realizing they end up doing the same things but expressing them differently. . .

THE LOVE BALL by NAKED HEART FOUNDATION

Natalia Vodianova hosted the "Love Ball" to raise movey for her  foundation (Naked Heart Foundation) which is dedicated to building playgrounds for urban children in Russia.This attracted a great response. the London style set,designers, photographers, etc. Atendees were: Diane Von Furstenberg, Mario Testino, Lisa Snowden, Matthew Williamson, Rachel Zoe, Tracy Eminn, Amber Le bon, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan, Jaquetta Wheeler, Alice Dellal, Leona Lewis and a  host of others.

Usually, i don't do interviews or posts of bloggers but these ones have got the fashion world buzzing and they are so young!
Jane Aldridge, with help from her mum, started her blog with pics taken by her mum!! she's done preety well for a blogger her age! (read picture below). Bryanboy has been on every major publication from New York Times to Financial times. he's graced the frontrow seats of major shows! here he is at D&G! he's the second person to the left of Anna Wintour!! (now if u really needed me to show you who bryan is, u must have been living in a cave! lol)
